Which Hip Hop Artist’s Concert Earns The Most Money?
With the record labels in shambles especially in Black Music (particularly Hip-Hop), there is a great way to fill the void! Hip-Hop artists make a lot of their money through touring because it allows for not only a great show, but merchandising like clothing, accessories, bottles, and more. However, four people come to mind when it comes to concerts: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem.
A guy like Jay-Z can earn as much as 1 million dollars per show! His tickets normally sell out within a matter of a half an hour. Kanye West is the exact same way and their “Watch the Throne” tour is showing the power of both premier artists in one dynamic show. Eminem has a core audience of at least 2 million fans willing to buy his albums whether it’s a recession or a good economy, it doesn’t matter. His stage shows and extensive tours can rake in 50 million dollars easily. Lastly, Lil Wayne within the past three has really set the bar high ass far as concerts are concerned. Starting with his Carter III, he has amassed a profit nearing hundreds of millions of dollars! His fan base grows with each tour.
